Look, it's perfectly straightforward!

You take the Old Street exit from Old street underground station on the Bank Branch of the Northern Line and exit the station heading south along Old Street itself. Bear left at the apex of the junction of Old street and Great Eastern Street (at Pitfield Street) and carry on down old street (past Shoreditch town hall), until you come to a crossroads...

Cross over Shoreditch high street and join Hackney Road. The public entrance to Perseverance Works is approximately 100 Yards on the left. Simple! (Unless you happen to be coming via Liverpool Street, that's a nightmare!)
